A few years ago, God called me out of atheism, not only to faith, but to be a part of his transfiguring mission in the world. This led me to serving as a full-time missionary with the InnerCHANGE East Harlem team. One of my roles will be to provide emotional support to those on the streets, to those who feel alone in the big city, particularly the elderly who don’t need a conventional church, but rather friends who can listen. I will also be involved in Bible studies, music, art, and social networks as we seek to be a bridge across the generations.
